The reef was alive yesterday! We caught snapper grouper, mackeral, amberjacks, triggerfish, surgeonfish, houndfish, and blue runners. We had some trouble fighting the wind and current which were against each other, and some porpoise were feeding on our hooked up snapper, but we still did manage a limit of nice yellowtail and mangrove snapper. 10-26-2009 4:12:35 AM EST
What another beautiful day on the water!! It did not get hot until we got back to the dock and were filleting the bounty! We had a great time on the flag yellowtails right on up to 24 inches. The first fish of the day was on Lynn's first cast, and she boated a seven pound black grouper to start the day off right. The day continued with large yellowtails and a mutton snapper. Nice job folks! 10-25-2009 4:31:57 AM EST
What a wonderful morning yesterday. Some cloud cover and a nice breeze brought us pleasant conditions to limit the boat out on mangrove, mutton, and yellowtail snapper. We also caught and released several mackeral. For our viewing pleasure, we had two pairs of mother and calf dolphin frolicking around the boat most of the morning!!!! 10-19-2009 5:23:33 AM EST
Well, our first cold front of the year is here!!!! It was greatly anticipated, should make the reef come more alive, and have the grouper start moving in and around!!!! 10-16-2009 5:08:37 PM EST
Well we fished in deeper water today, had some hits, but all small fish. worked our way into shallow water, and limited out on yellowtail rapidly. Anxiously awaiting our first cold front this weekend........ 10-14-2009 9:30:16 AM EST

Well yesterday's reef fishing was more typical of a summer day. It was stifling hot, Crystal clear water, no current, and very slow fishing. Ariel did enjoy her first fishing trip though, and her and Zeke did not get sick. Yeah!!! 08-28-2009 4:33:47 AM EST

Yesterday it wasn't quite as easy to limit out on snappers, we had to work very hard for them. The current was not the most oppertune, but we managed to put together a nice bunch of yellowtail, mangrove, muttons, and lane snappers. 08-26-2009 4:16:35 AM EST

Another fantastic day on the reef. All the yellowtail and mangrove snapper that you wanted. We had a couple of short grouper and mutton snappers also, and some cero mackeral. 08-14-2009 4:38:42 AM EST
yesterday morning we went to the reef and found not much current. moved around a little bit and finally anchored on some aggressive yellowtail and mangrove snappers. after catching a limit we decided to travel offshore in search of some dolphin. We had a medical issue on board, so those plans were thwarted, and we decided to come on in. On the way home we found a floating tree, which had about an eight pound tripletail on it, That triple tail is probably ten pounds now, after eating three live ballyhoo, two whole dead ballyhoo, and a dozen of our shrimp, it was able to swim away! Just wasn't meant to be caught yesterday......... 08-13-2009 3:34:30 AM EST
We went offshore yesterday, and it was just a beautiful day. We caught several dolphin, the largest about 18 pounds, and a few tripletail. There were dolphin all over out there, but I had trouble getting them to bite, even with live baits. We could get the schools up to the boat, but than only pick one or two dolphin. Luckily, we found a bunch of schools!!! 08-10-2009 6:01:44 AM EST

We tried to go offshore yesterday, but the squalls that were supposed to pass hung on top of us all morning. we hung out on the reef catching yellowtail and mangrove, until the lightening turned menacing, than we raced for home. Wet and cold, almost with a limit of snapper. 07-28-2009 4:29:34 AM EST
